Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and evaluate a diverse team of medical providers and mid-level staff
- Direct the Health Center’s quality initiative programs and clinical outcome reporting
- Oversee recruitment and orientation for all new medical personnel
- Provide direct primary care services to patients
- Collaborate with the CEO on financial sustainability and grant applications
Essential
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree
- Extensive experience in clinical administration and department management
- Proven ability to lead interdisciplinary teams across various medical specialties
- Experience in primary care delivery and inpatient provider care coordination
- Ability to conduct performance evaluations and manage provider productivity
- Knowledge of HRSA standards and federal clinical regulations
Preferred
- Experience in writing and managing private or federal grant proposals
- Background in community health center (FQHC) environments
- Familiarity with Healthy People 2020 clinical measures
- Experience in developing and implementing medical education programs
