Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end management of the loan lifecycle including processing and closing
- Designing and implementing firm-wide SOPs, controls, and workflows
- Developing analytics and reporting tools for portfolio health visibility
- Recruiting and managing a high-performing operations team
- Facilitating the transition to a fund-based operational structure
- Acting as a bridge between originations and underwriting to improve borrower experience
Essential
- Minimum of 7 years in private lending, commercial credit, or mortgage banking
- Demonstrated history of progressive leadership in operations
- Proven ability to build operational infrastructure in a growth-stage company
- Deep technical knowledge of loan processing, servicing, and underwriting
- Ability to manage complex credit exceptions and perform hands-on underwriting
- Experience working within founder-led or high-growth business environments
- Bachelor’s degree
Preferred
- Advanced degree (MBA or similar)
- Experience with institutional capital or fund-based structures
- Background in managing outsourced resources and vendors
- Experience in investor reporting and compliance
