Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end management of the loan lifecycle including processing and closing
  • Designing and implementing firm-wide SOPs, controls, and workflows
  • Developing analytics and reporting tools for portfolio health visibility
  • Recruiting and managing a high-performing operations team
  • Facilitating the transition to a fund-based operational structure
  • Acting as a bridge between originations and underwriting to improve borrower experience

Essential

  • Minimum of 7 years in private lending, commercial credit, or mortgage banking
  • Demonstrated history of progressive leadership in operations
  • Proven ability to build operational infrastructure in a growth-stage company
  • Deep technical knowledge of loan processing, servicing, and underwriting
  • Ability to manage complex credit exceptions and perform hands-on underwriting
  • Experience working within founder-led or high-growth business environments
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred

  • Advanced degree (MBA or similar)
  • Experience with institutional capital or fund-based structures
  • Background in managing outsourced resources and vendors
  • Experience in investor reporting and compliance
