Key Responsibilities

Essential

  • Proven track record of managing relationships with federal and state regulators (FDIC, CFPB, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of banking regulations including BSA/AML, UDAP/UDAAP, and Reg B/E/CC/DD
  • Comprehensive understanding of mortgage-specific laws such as RESPA, TILA, HMDA, and the SAFE Act
  • Experience developing and maintaining an enterprise-wide Compliance Management System (CMS)
  • Ability to draft and execute a Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Strategic Plan

Preferred

  • Advanced certifications in compliance (e.g., CRCM)
  • Experience in both retail banking and high-volume mortgage lending environments
  • Strong background in fair lending analytics and data integrity oversight
