Key Responsibilities
- Provide authoritative legal counsel on U.S. government healthcare program policies
- Advise the U.S. Public Affairs organization on trade association engagement and policy strategies
- Monitor and evaluate the evolving external environment for Medicare, Medicaid, and 340B programs
- Lead the development of cross-functional legal strategies for business units
- Represent the company in external legal workgroups and industry committees
Essential
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in good standing
- Extensive experience in U.S. healthcare policy and reimbursement law
- Deep understanding of federal and state programs including Medicare, Medicaid, and 340B
- Proven ability to conduct sophisticated legal analysis on high-risk corporate issues
Preferred
- Experience leading legal strategy within a large biopharmaceutical or life sciences organization
- Previous engagement with industry trade associations and policy-making bodies
- Strong track record of advising Public Affairs or Government Relations departments
