Key Responsibilities

  • Provide authoritative legal counsel on U.S. government healthcare program policies
  • Advise the U.S. Public Affairs organization on trade association engagement and policy strategies
  • Monitor and evaluate the evolving external environment for Medicare, Medicaid, and 340B programs
  • Lead the development of cross-functional legal strategies for business units
  • Represent the company in external legal workgroups and industry committees

Essential

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active bar membership in good standing
  • Extensive experience in U.S. healthcare policy and reimbursement law
  • Deep understanding of federal and state programs including Medicare, Medicaid, and 340B
  • Proven ability to conduct sophisticated legal analysis on high-risk corporate issues

Preferred

  • Experience leading legal strategy within a large biopharmaceutical or life sciences organization
  • Previous engagement with industry trade associations and policy-making bodies
  • Strong track record of advising Public Affairs or Government Relations departments
