Essential
- Proven track record of visionary leadership in a scientific or medical research environment
- Ability to qualify for a Full or Associate Professor appointment at Harvard Medical School
- Extensive experience in budgetary planning and fiscal execution within a complex healthcare or research setting
- Demonstrated ability to align research excellence with business strategy and clinical impact
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across research, clinical, and administrative functions
Preferred
- International recognition as a leader in diabetes research or metabolic health
- Experience navigating large-scale healthcare system integrations
- Success in securing NIH funding and managing large-scale research grants
- Background in commercializing scientific discoveries or managing commercial ventures
