Key Responsibilities
- Standardize global accounting practices and policies across multiple international subsidiaries
- Lead and mentor a global team of controllers and accounting staff
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and US GAAP reporting
- Manage financial due diligence and integration for new global acquisitions
- Ensure rigorous compliance with international tax regulations and statutory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and internal control frameworks
Essential
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
- Extensive experience working within global, multi-national organizations
- Deep technical expertise in US GAAP and complex financial consolidations
- Proven track record leading annual audits and managing external auditor relationships
- Strong understanding of both domestic (US) and international tax compliance
- Experience with financial due diligence and purchase accounting for acquisitions
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial consolidation software
Preferred
- Active CPA certification highly preferred
- 5+ years of experience within a Big 4 or large US public accounting firm
- Previous experience in the industrial technology or manufacturing sector
- Experience managing financial operations in the Middle East or Europe
