Key Responsibilities
- Scale and lead a distributed engineering team across core infrastructure and cloud platform functions
- Partner with the CEO to translate company strategy into technical roadmaps
- Ensure the reliability and performance of Qdrant Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, and Edge products
- Establish and maintain high standards for code quality, observability, and incident response
- Drive the engineering hiring plan with a focus on high-tier Rust and distributed systems talent
- Collaborate with Product and DevRel teams to align engineering output with community and customer needs
Essential
- Over 10 years of professional engineering leadership experience
- Extensive background in senior cloud or platform engineering roles
- Proven history of building and scaling B2B SaaS platforms
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing distributed, remote-first teams
- Deep technical expertise in Kubernetes and cloud-native architecture
- Hands-on experience operating high-scale, mission-critical production infrastructure
- Familiarity with enterprise-level security and compliance frameworks
- Strong background in distributed systems design
- Experience managing large-scale infrastructure across AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Advanced knowledge of observability, reliability engineering, and automation
- Proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code
Preferred
