Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new Lakebase revenue opportunities within a defined territory
  • Articulate the value of Lakebase for operational workloads and AI-native applications
  • Manage complex negotiations involving technical, executive, and line-of-business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing to refine GTM plays and territory strategies
  • Enable the broader sales field by sharing best practices and success stories

Essential

  • Proven track record of driving new revenue in the operational database or cloud infrastructure space
  • Ability to lead complex, multi-threaded sales cycles from initial discovery to commercial closing
  • Experience navigating and influencing diverse stakeholders including developers, platform teams, and central IT
  • Capability to orchestrate technical proof-of-value (POV) and POC sessions with solution architects
  • Strong business ownership skills with the ability to track pipeline, revenue, and market trends at a business-unit level

Preferred

  • Experience with Postgres or other cloud-native operational databases
  • Background in selling to application development teams for AI-driven or real-time applications
  • Existing relationships with key ISVs and Global Systems Integrators (GSIs)
  • Experience in a 'Hunter' capacity within a high-growth SaaS or Data/AI company
