- Articulate and drive the long-term vision for design across the Smartsheet ecosystem
- Manage the daily operations and strategic output of the UX design team
- Establish and scale standardized UX processes, tools, and quality benchmarks
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to align user needs with technical constraints
- Develop individual career growth plans for team members to ensure professional retention and excellence
Essential
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in cross-functional, strategic project leadership
- At least 6 years of experience specifically leading and mentoring UX design teams
- Proven track record of managing large design organizations (10+ members)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business objectives into engaging product experiences
- Experience implementing human-centered design methodologies from ideation to launch
- Portfolio of broadly influential UX work that drove measurable business success
Preferred
- Experience as a 'manager of managers'
- Background in scaling UX processes and tools within a growing enterprise
- Expertise in both web and mobile application design ecosystems
