Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive organizational data roadmap
- Modernize the data tech stack including CRM and integrated data warehouses
- Lead predictive modeling for fan retention and pricing strategies
- Create executive-level dashboards to track organizational KPIs
- Oversee data governance and compliance with MLB privacy policies
- Manage and develop a high-performing team of technical specialists
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
- 7+ years of professional experience in data analytics, data science, or data engineering
- Proven track record of building and managing a comprehensive data vendor stack
- Strong foundation in data governance and data warehousing principles
- Experience leading and mentoring technical teams including Data Engineers and BI Analysts
- Ability to translate raw data into actionable executive-level insights
Preferred
- Master’s degree in a quantitative or business-related field
- Prior experience working within the Sports, Media, or Entertainment industries
