- Mentor junior scholars and collaborate across departments to advance the legislative action plan
Essential
- Demonstrated expertise in a specific policy area such as education, healthcare, or local government
- Ability to conduct original, rigorous research and data analysis
- Strong alignment with conservative principles and free-market philosophy
- Experience analyzing state and federal legislative or regulatory proposals
- Proven track record of drafting high-quality policy briefs and research reports
Preferred
- Experience testifying in legislative hearings or public forums
- Existing relationships with policymakers and stakeholders
- Background in media relations or public speaking
