Key Responsibilities

  • Directing the annual budget and re-forecasting processes
  • Developing board-level reports that focus on strategic insights rather than raw data
  • Analyzing sales performance and gross profit drivers to identify risks
  • Partnering with non-finance departments to align commercial and financial goals
  • Mentoring junior staff to foster a culture of high performance
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies

Essential

  • Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE)
  • Proven track record in a leadership role within an FP&A function
  • Extensive experience presenting to executive leadership and board members
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a team of finance professionals
  • Expertise in building complex financial models from scratch
  • Experience managing annual budgeting and re-forecasting cycles

Preferred

  • Experience within the retail or consumer goods sector
  • Background in a fast-paced, agile commercial environment
