Key Responsibilities

• Oversee patient safety incidents, investigations, and clinical audit schedules
• Develop and implement standard operating models and clinical documentation
• Lead workforce development initiatives, including competency frameworks and recruitment
• Bridge the gap between clinical teams and commercial/IT departments

Essential

• Extensive background managing healthcare services across multiple regional or national locations
• Proven track record of leading large-scale standardization and service improvement initiatives
• Deep understanding of clinical governance, patient safety protocols, and regulatory assurance
• Degree-level qualification (Level 6) or equivalent professional experience
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate quality data into performance improvements

Preferred

• Current registration with a recognized healthcare professional body
• Specialist experience in rehabilitation, wheelchair services, or prosthetics/orthotics
• Formal training in audit methodologies or quality improvement frameworks
• Specific qualification in patient safety incident response (PSIRF)
• Experience managing service mobilizations, integrations, or organizational transformations
